I went away at the weekend for just one night to the ladies retreat at church! I thought I might get a little knitting done so I packed Summertime Tunic to take with me (endless st st going on with this project! - does it ever end?) I was only there until Saturday afternoon and I really didn't have time to knit at all!
So once I was home I picked up my camisole again, still plodding on with the lace (about 3 more inches to go on the back, then still the front piece to do). In the meantime I finished off my second pair of Evangelines. I started these just after I finished the first gray pair. They were mostly complete except for the thumbs and the sewing in of the ends.

Very pretty style. I love fingerless mitts. I have one more pair to this this season. They make great gifts and I love the idea of a matching scarf!
Don't you love this pattern - it is gorgeous! I just finished a pair and it got rave reviews from the reciepient, now, I need a pair!
Okay, that's it! I'm going to need to make mayself a pair of these gorgeous mitts. They are just beautiful.
Gorgeous mitts, Denise, and the colour is lovely. A chunky cable scarf to match those would be fab .... although A LOT of cabling!!
:)
The mitts look great! well done!
Looking good! I actually thought about making these last week but then thought 'nah...it's nearly Spring'...Guess what?...it snowed here yesterday!
those are really pretty mitts! also, i'm loving that camisole! : )
Those look great! I love the 'gift box' idea too!
i LOVE these! i really must make myself a pair.....and a few pairs for a gift box!!
Very nice! Great idea to start putting away a few presents for future gifts. And yeah, I know what you mean about trying to photograph mittens while you're modeling them, having just tried it myself. I finally gave up after some pretty awful attempts!
