sneek peak

I wish I hadn't mentioned that my next project is another gift. Perhaps if I hadn't I could have brazenly shown the progress I made after casting on last night. After all, surely the recipient (should she even take a look over here at this blog) would forget all about said 'FO' by the time Christmas came around? Or perhaps she would remember seeing the FO but say "oh I never realized it was for me"?

But I did mention it was a Christmas gift so I don't want to spoil the surprise. For now I will give you just a sneek peak and tell you that you can see other pics over at my Ravelry.

An avid knitter could probably guess what this is! If you're a member of Ravelry but I'm not listed in your 'friends', you can search for me under 'knittingden.

Hiya sis - just a thought - i think it needs to be slightly bigger if its for me :o) lol
How come you got to be the knitter like mam I still can't get past the fact that it took me 10 years to knit a jumper all those years ago. I guess black wool and cable stitch for a first time knitter wasn't such a good idea. I do now own a pair of needles and some wool so maybe I'll have another go.
Love ya xx
