. . . said Penelope, just as I finished sewing on her arm and announced she was complete :-) So I did! We went in to the garden and frolicked about – well she frolicked, I took pictures ;-)
She was a super quick knit, yarn held double (acrylic stuff I had in stash). I wanted to knit her in pink but I didn’t have any yarn in that color so I just used what I had. Cream probably isn’t the best color to show off her mouth but overall I think she turned out pretty cute.
She was rather tired after her photo shoot so she went to rest on my bed, and as the morning sunlight fell in to the room, Penelope took a nap.

Penelope is adorable! Who knew a monster could be so cute?!
Thanks for visiting my blog - greetings from Norfolk, UK! Penelope is very cute - I might try a simpler version with my knitting club at school. I think the kids would love them!
Oh she is adorable! I am knitting one at the moment and I hope she turns out just as cute as yours is.
Thanks for stopping by....Your doggy does look like Royal Dog...I love Shitz-tzus....
Love Penelope so cute sis xx
Knitted monsters, that's a first for me, a great idea and you've knitted Penelope beautifully. I agree she's very sweet, hardly a monster at all.
Penelope looks so sweet, hardly a monster at all. I think I might just be tempted to have a go at one.
How sweet! I absolutely love her little bow!
Great pics! Wandered over from Josiekitten's blog. I grew up near Cambridge, England and now live near Seattle!
Hello there! Thanks for stopping by my blog and your kind comment. You also have a lovely blog. Love your knitted monster! See you again soon. Ros
Very cute - is she yours or Kristens? lol
You should keep her on your bed. Turned out cute!
If my son sees one of those he's going to be begging me to make him one. They look quick to knit.
PS. thanks for the bday wishes :)
Sweet Penelope. I think she is adorable. Now, is she for you or your daughter? ;)
