I'm flying home to England tomorrow for 2 weeks - my Mam is very sick :-( I am leaving hubby and dd here. I only hope I can get on the plane with my knitpicks.... the journey will take me 17 hours!
I completely forget to check your knitting blog! Love the cowl, and your shawl! So pretty :) I've been wondering if the airlines allow knitting needles on board! I have a few small projects to get started, and thought I'd take one with me in my hand luggage. Did you get to take your needle in the cabin? love & hugs xx

Sorry to hear about your mum - I hope you travel safely, and all goes well.
Good thoughts for you and your mum. I have never had a problem taking those needles on the plan so fingers crossed for you.
I hope the knitting makes the trip seem shorter so you can spend more time with your mum. I hope she gets better very soon too, hugs Sue!
Safe travels. Hope your Mum is feeling better soon.

I'm sorry to hear that your mom is not well. I hope things improve soon and that you have a safe and "knitful" flight.
Safe travels and I pray you have a good visit with your Mam -- she'll feel better just seeing your face I'm sure.
I hope that your Mum will be ok and that you have a pleasant time over here :o)
